The auction will end early. Someone will go with cash to do an inspection. I agree he would do much better splitting them unless they are worse than they look in the photos.
What do you figure
67- 16-18k
65-66s 12-16k
T code 5k
I say if it gets to the end $56,500. Probably take a group to get together to ssp lit them after the sale or a dealer to flip

Interesting---wide range of guess's on here. Were in the low $30's to the high $60. I hope the auction runs it's course. I'm still thinking somewhere in between. (53,501)
That is just sad that all those fastback mustangs have been sitting in a barn out in the sticks and I really mean the STICKS here in Colorado for all those years. They are probaly all full of field mice and who knows what else... that is only about 60 or so miles from where I live in metro Denver, but Peyton is nothing but a tiny farming/ranching community out on the eastern plains... the owner probably bought them as he saw them come up in the local paper for $500-$1000 each like you could do 30 years ago and then shoved them in a barn and watched them turn into piles of gold as the years went by. I never get that lucky, I always pay full price for all of my cars and car stuff.
My guess is at least a $50k reserve because the seller knows that everybody and his brother wants a fastback body style mustang these days.... "Well Monty what's inside barn #3 and what are you willing to pay for it?"It will be fun to follow and see if he splits them up to sell them.
I would be surprised if the reserve gets met. I think the bid is already too high with the completely inadequate description on the cars. It looks to me like the guy wants all the money in the world without having to do any work for it. The whole deal is a bit sketchy if you ask me.

Reason: forgot the popcorn--
When selling them individually, they may bring 60k+ in total, but then the seller needs to buy them, transport them to his place, make them presentable (i.e. put the engines back in and preferably have them running) and then sell them, so that's quite a bit of work before he starts to make any money on the deal. I'm guessing $51,578. Shouldn't be very hard to sell them off though, considering what fastback project cars typically go for.
