Default Forget where's Waldo- where's the emergency flasher on the 68's?

I know where the turn signal one is because I've replaced it, but
I've never even looked under the dash for the emergency flasher.

Thanks for helping out- actually my back says thanks.

On my 67 its located in a clamp style holder behind the instrument panel. In fact it was easier to access by removing the instrument panel than to try to get under the dash and feel for it.

Thanks for your response.

You'd need that plus a super flexible wrist to get to it!

Yup. It looks like I'll be hatin' life trying to get to that. I really, really
don't want to pull the instrument panel though.....

A small push/pull knob on the pass side collar under the steering wheel base. Pretty elementary. LOL. Pull out/on, push in/off
I think, battery out.

I've had the car since '68, so I know where the switch is. I was
asking about the flasher unit itself. (which I have found now)

The kid in the center of this 1968 photo is me and the car (what little you can see is on the right).
