Thumbup Good report on Classic LED's

Everyone complains when they have a problem, but occasionally, a company really backs their product. I got a set of sequential taillights for my 64 a few years ago and they have been acting up. No brake lights, turn signals don't work right and they made it dangerous to drive. The was a phone # on the circuit board, so I called. Spoke to the owner, Larry, of Classic LEDs, and explained the problems. My son bought them from NPD for a Christmas present, but Larry said they had a lifetime warranty. Pleasant surprise!
He immediately sent out the latest & newest set for me to install. Came today- 4 days after I called him! Tomorrow, I put them in and can start driving the car again!
He said these were brighter, better quality but a little harder to install, as he improved the system and it needed a little more work, but would last a lot longer.
Can't wait to get it back on the road as the 69 now has a tire problem!

Great to hear stories like this instead of the usual issues. I'll definitely be looking them up when the time comes that I actually have a place in my car to put them!

I personaly believe that most of the parts suppliers for our hobby really care about there products and there customer service.
Do they fall down on the job once in a while ? Yes , I have'nt meet anyone yet who is perfect. The main problem with any parts supplier is the owner and the phone order taker are not in tune most times. Not that the owners don't try to get them to do things right , It's just human nature , sooner or later some one will make an error and it won't set well with whom ever was on the receiving end of the mistake.
I try to always look at it this way , I'm not perfect and I have made many mistakes in my life , I just Thank God I wasn't eliminated from this planet for that stupid mistake.
Many a times I should have been toast but for some ones grace to me I wasn;'t.
I have learned to give people 1,2,and 3 chances if possible and if they make an effort to correct there mistake , I'll forgive and forget Move forward and act as if it never happened.
Life is way to short to get out undies in a bunch !

that is really great to hear! I'm considering doing the coversion in a few months--or likely late this summer. I'll definitely buy from Classic LEDs...it's always good to hear about a company standing behind their products. It's also cool you got to speak with the owner.

LED tails are one of the first mods I want to do when I get my Mustang out of storage this spring. My subdivision road is off a hilly curvy highway and I've had a few close calls making the left onto my street. The brighter the lights the better chance traffic behind will see me!

Thumbup Installation

I got them out to install them earlier but the directions were not as clear as I had hoped. Back on the phone to Larry, the owner, and he walked me thru the questions I had and they are in now and working. I think I'll suggest he add a few pics of installations to avoid this problem in the future, but it was nice for him to take the time to be sure I got it right the 1st time.
Now we'll need a set for the 69!
Boy, are these brighter that the last set!
