Did anyone watch the new Fast and Loud? They had a '67 vert that they put $20,000 into. The car looked really good. After they finished they took it out for a test drive and a guy ran a red light and hit it. It tweaked the frame and made it unsellable for them. To top it off the driver that caused the accident was uninsured so it was a total loss. Its a shame, it was a really good looking car.
Doubt that car was totaled. If they cant fix it, they need to find new jobs. Truck had very little damage.

I think that show's is pretty darn cool. It's not the typical, "we have 1 week scheduled for this build and we don't know if we're gonna make it." Aaron just doesn't like to go with the grain. That's ok, some people are like that. It's too bad he doesn't like Mustangs. The GTO ad they have is awesome...all except the Chevy stripes.
I'm kinda neutral on the show itself about being cool or not. I like shows about cars, especially Mustangs. That car turned out really nice and I agree, it's all about the drama for TV.
That '67 is easily fixable with a frame machine and someone experienced with unibody cars. He'll have to spend another $5K to fix it right, but totally repairable.
How do I contact him. I'll offer $10K for the car as is and fix it myself.
Despite the occasional drama which detracts from the stars of the show (the cars), Aaron seems to have talent and he tends to sweat the details. I agree the car is not "totaled". Rawlings is just a horse trader who happens to ply his trade with cars. I would surmise that he could just as easily sell any other commodity with as much passion and drama..................ok, maybe not Brussel Sprouts!
