The corners are rusted out of mine and probably too much hassle to repair. I see all sorts of people selling the two piece, upper/lower, but not just the upper.

i might be willing to pay for a new bottom if someone only needs the top. i got a good top but my bottom(the cars bottom that is) has some small holes. i already have my top and bottom off. mine is 65. the top is good.
Currently, no one makes the 66 top, with or without the bottom. Thoroughbred says it's high on their list.
Which ones do the vendors carry, the '65 with the different wiper attachments?

If just using the cowl top on my 66, all I need are some different wiper grommets or something correct?
That is what I got.

I believe you'll also have to buy the wiper posts as well, there's no threads on the late 65 and 66 posts.
Won't the existing 66 wiper motor transition assembly work correctly?

65 cowls are different in the area where the windshield wiper posts come through. The 65's have the chrome pieces that screw onto the shaft whereas 66's don't.
So basically, I have to buy 64-65 threaded wiper pivot arms so I can attach the chrome spacers. Luckily, the shell at my local scrap yard is a 65 and the wipers are still there. Will have to go check and see if they are the threaded type or not.

Thank you... I subscribed to that thread so I will remember when the time comes...

Where are you finding the threaded wiper transmission arm?
