Default Anyone here near Dublin GA?

I am looking at a 408 stroker motor and the gentlemen is selling it in Dublin GA. But you know how things are and I would really feel more comfortable in the purchase if someone from here just put a pair of eyes on it that it exist.

Thanks in advance for anything you can help me with.

It's probably about an hour and a half from me (maybe a little more)... a little too far with a screaming 3 month old at the moment. There may be others closer. I personally wouldn't make the drive without the dyno for those numbers. Seems feasable for the set up, but I'd still need to see it.

Yeah I think he is estimating the figures there. I am looking to buy the short block. I have my own heads for it that will put on that will bump up that compression to about 10.8 to 1. 55cc 185 ported TWs.

That rotating assembly is good for up to 500hp and I don't plan on pushing it that hard.

But I rather throw this in my engine bay than the old 289 with those heads.
