Default Keep, Give away, Throw out or sell??

I have all my old suspension parts that were removed, drums, steering components (no steering box or ps cylinder), upper and lower ca, etc. Any value here? Most are in poor shape.

I tried giving away 2 different take off suspensions over the years....most of it all ended up in the trash after I got tired of tripping over them.

I'd say yes, they do have value. Even if worn, people looking for that stock original resto will want used NOS parts. Ball joints and such, can be replaced into the old CA's. I would go to the concours mustang website and go to the for sale section and put them up for sale, you never know until you try....Good luck.

Yes, I meant OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturer), not NOS. Actually the term NOS means New Original Stock. The slang term is New Old Stock..

I have all my old suspension parts too from when I re-did my suspension. I've been debating the same thing... sell, keep, throw/give away. I have such a hard time getting rid of anything I replace on the Mustang even if it is old worn out springs or things like that. Good thing the wife doesn't look under the house at our crawl space!

I recently bought an almost complete take-off from a 65 Comet for around $65. It included the LCA, spindle, UCA, spring perch, drum, brake backing plate and strut rod for each side. I also grabbed the front stuff from my cousin's 68 Torino when he had the M2 front end put in.

The stuff has value, don't scrap it.

As said above, the control arms can have new ball joints installed and the rivets can be pressed to look exactly like original.

I threw away all my old stuff except for the drum brakes. New parts are so easy and cheap to come by, I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to bother with my ragged old parts. I just kept the brake parts just because they have value as a core if someone ever wanted to put the car back original.

if they are original you might want to keep them with the car. or keep 1 of the set at least
I wish I had all the orignal parts I tossed back in the day.
yellow top coil, purple dab rear shocks, control arms, factory stamped heater hoses carter fuel pump.....etc you name it it tossed it.

i leanred my lesson though. for my 93 i still have the orignal battery in a box under the work bench and and 1 original Michelin hanging on the wall.
