Ugh I hate seeing cars that end up in that sort of condition.

Interior - Soundproof, new carpet, tilt column (in progress), new steering wheel, seat extenders, Motolita MK3 (in progress)
Exterior/Body/Performance:T5 (In progress) weatherstripping, power steering (in progress)
Word of warning.
With the driver side shock tower MIA. I would be cautious. This is where the body vin is stamped. It is probably better to use it as a planter than a project.

For some strange reason, I wish I had the time and money.... I'd offer him $500 if it came with a title.
I'd give him $500 without a title and strip what usable parts are on it and scrap the rusty mess left afterwards.

And don't forget the Damn Bees/Wasps/Fire Ants/Snakes! I have been attacked (Yellow Jackets) several times at local salvage yards where they did not keep up the grounds (like the pic above), as nice as the National picknpull type yards. Yeowch! Always an unpleasant surprise when upside down under the dash/all the way in the trunk/and or underneath in very tight spot. No easy escape. I would have to hitch that thing to my truck wench and pull it about 50 yards before ever touching it.
