Ok, I'm putting my car back together I'm left with this bolt. I had it labeled in the engine/trans sandwich bag but I don't believe it goes there and I'm wondering if any of you can tell me where you believe it could go?
thanks
sorry, I should have specified the year. its a 64.5 289/4speed convertible. when I pulled the engine/trans I pulled it complete with all accessories. all the hardware in the labeled bad should have been the bare minimum to get the drivetrain out of the car, then this bolt is there......
I agree K code bolt. Sell it on Fleabay for $2,000.00. LOL.
It kind of looks like a distributer clamp bolt.
Also might be trans line bolt, cooling or vacuum.
Oil dipstick, tranny dipstick, ground cable, something else that bolts to a head. It looks too big to be the speedo cable bolt, I just pulled mine this weekend and it is pretty small. Good Luck!
