I have two 1966 convertible top frames, I think the latches are stuck on both, are they worth trying to sell? or should I scrap them or try to give them away here?
I just recently bought a '66 top frame from a friend of mine that's been collecting parts for ~ 20yrs. It's worth ~ $400. I used penetrating & also WD40 to get every pivot point moving. I was also shown the diff between the '66 frame vs '67/68 frame. Although either years can be mounted, the big diff is the top bows are a tad higher for headroom for 67/68. I have both and can see diff.
As not reproduced, for parts individual bits can bring a good price. Few of the bolts, washers, etc. are reproduced. As noted a Dynacorn repro is available but only as a full top.
If seized or corroded $400 would be a good prince. I've paid $150 for functional frames in the not too distant past.
As for

I suppose that means you aren't going to 'give' them to me now...? lol
