Finally got everything together and rolling just in time for Intercity Lines Transport to pick it up on Tuesday for its journey to sunny and dry SoCal. Originally built in NJ and stuck in a field for rusting for decades and then garaged for another 26 years with only a brief stint of driving during my senior year of high school (see inspection sticker on the windshield :wink it's finally painted the way I always wanted it. Can't wait to finish the rest myself when it gets to Cali.
You're supposed to buy them from California not sent them there! Nice looking car, and your former rust issues should not re-appear in the new climate.
I'm going with aftermarket wheels I just can't decide which ones. I keep Leaning toward the Legendary Styled Alloy. Some folks suggested in a previous post the mini lites but I think ther're too racer like. I don't want TTD's because they're everywhere.
Thanks everyone for the nice words. Came out way better than expected, especially when you realize it was done in essentially a two car garage and not a paint booth. Just goes to show its not the equipment but the skills of the person doing it and that person isn't me but the gentleman walking out of the garage in the picture.
