Confused 1966 mustang

I HAVE A 1966 MUSTANG THAT I JUST BOUGHT THAT WAS CONVERTED TO A V-8 289 WAS A " T " CODE my heater does not wrk and was wondering if anyone could tell me how to ck it.There is a purple wire that is not connected to thing under the hood and there is a red after market wire that also not hooked up to and thing from the starter solenoid please help me if u can. THERE IS A AFTER MARKET AC THAT TO DOES NOT WRK also

Sounds like its time to do a wire trace- the system is really simple- I would recommmend starting the the motor and tracing the 2 wires to make sure they are connnected, the fuse is ok and there is power.

Next check to make sure the cable's (hot water valves) are connected

Often times, the problem may lie in changing the Heater Blower Motor Switch Resistor, located on the heater plenum and is connected by a group of wires. This simple device can get messed up with dust, oil and dirt after a while and disables the heater. If it's not the wires, I bet you that its the resistor.

Look on CJ Pony They aren't much and don't take all too long to replace. Just make sure you have superglue.
