got the 8.8 rear end and one side is almost done and I'm not using the BBS wheels ,dont know what I going to run on it yet .
I dont like black wheels and I think that chrome is nice with the hotrod black ,sometimes I think people go with to much of the blacked out look ,also we put the tub as close as you get without cutting up the back seat ,did not want to get into that and I'm keepping the seat too ,like the look

3/4" on each side?

You may be able to run a sn95 or s197 offset on it.

Run some forgeline or Apex wheels. Clean looking and come in a few colors. I'd say a dark bronze or something to make it stand out a bit.

UPDATE 12/24/12
Got the tubs sealed and rust proofed ,Chris has one shock tower plate almost in and getting ready to do the other one soon . We test fitted the rear end and it will have to be cut down by a inch or so ,looks like I will be able to get a big 275 or smaller 285 under it ,got to see how much to cut and what back spacing I'm going with on the wheels. Pics below

Why did you leave the bottom part of the shock tower that way?
