Would the addition of your monte carlo bar change the shipping cost?
IŽd like one of those too. Have to get rid of the curved one anyways.
Thanks
Mike
Yes, it would change the shipping cost. I have a customer with Webers on his 289 in a 66 and the straight style Monte Carlo bars would hit the right front Weber. Every car is slightly different though. My bar mounts in the same place as that curved one you have. If your current bar didn't have the curve in it but was straight, would it clear?
Shaun, I see two bolts that attach horizontally to the cowl. Is there a plate that is to go on the passenger side of the firewall for support? (Very nice piece BTW, I'm debating.)
Thanks,
Tom

No plate, just washers. No reason why you couldn't add something there if you wanted. I didn't think it was necessary. Once bolted in with 4 vertical bolts through the pinch weld and 2 horizontally through the cowl it is solid.
