Before someone starts complaining about this section not being for selling stuff id like to say im not in this for profit this is more of a group buy thing and to let those looking for a new fuel tank know they have a affordable drop in option in aluminum. Its currently set up where id have to do the massive order myself so people would have to pre order through my shop (paypal or check) and then id place your order to your specs. But im trying to set it up so we have a list of those who will for sure buy a tank and ill send the Mr Rhodes a list with the names who will get the discounted price and you can call and place the order yourself and ills end your tank specs in....All that being said now,
I have teamed up with Rhodes Race Cars to make a custom direct drop in aluminum fuel cell for early falcon, mustang, comet, and cougar! Options are 20-30 gallons with a front sump for easy fuel pickup. No sump is also a option.
Option of single or dual pickup lines, breather and return line fitting options as well.
Filler options are flush mount, straight neck or 45 degree neck. We are going to try and make this so you can use the stock fill location if you want vs having to open the trunk to fill.
All cells are foam filled. Sending units will come installed in stock 70-10 ohm or other options upon request.
Please email us at blueghostindustries@gmail.com for orders or questions. These are high quality cells and will last forever.
THE MORE ORDERS WE GET THE CHEAPER THE CELLS WILL BE!
Right now we are looking at under $560 a tank, if I can get another ten people we get a decent chunk taken out of that price. Compare that to the only other drop in cell that sells for $1800. We are getting a killer deal.
Anyone know how to make this a sticky?
This is a example of a similar one to how these will look. THIS IS NOT A DROP IN TANK. THIS ONE IN THE PIC IS FOR SOMEONE WHO SEALED UP THE FLOOR WHERE THE STOCK ONE WAS BUT IT SHOWS A EXAMPLE OF THEIR WORK.
I need to check on the FT3 thing. And with enough orders they will then make this a production model. So all parts for replacement will be easily available. From what it sounds like 10-15 orders could make it a new production model.
Sorry I never got a email you all replied. What details you guys wana know? If you want email me blueghostindustries@gmail.com got 1 guy ready to order so far and another three pending.
The owner didnt seem to want to give me alot of info so im calling him back today and will get all the details out of him on the tanks. Should have done that before. Thinking to fast, sorry.
For the record it was him not me who compared it to a fuelsafe. I do have a account with fuelsafe if anyone wants one of their tanks. Have to email me about that one though for pricing.
BG, keep us up to date as you learn more, is there a bladder, and what about the foam inside, is it approved for E85 ? That would be a deal-breaker for me if it weren't. LSG
I'm all for a guy trying to get his own gig kicked off but I'm not sure what I'm looking at here - there's a hand drawing of a fuel tank concept next to a photo of a Fuel Safe tank ( you can read the Fuel Safe logo right on it). So are you selling Fuel Safe tanks or your own? If not, does Fuel Safe know you're using their image to try and sell your product? Do you have a link to the Instagram page you reference? Aren't Cougar fuel tanks different that early Mustangs?
I'm not saying you're not legit, but You're asking people to agree to buy something they essentially know nothing about. Your post is poorly written and, in some areas, confusing. My suggestion would be to make a prototype, install it, and post about it here. Also, get the certifications you say it will have.
Well first off this has nothing to do with me making money or making a gas tank. Its simply a group buy type deal where rhodes race cars (they make the rci fuel cells) will be making custom gas tanks at a discount through my company. So you tell me what style tank you want and I put your name on a list that ill send to them. You will then get your tank up to 30% what the retail price quote is of $550. I will not make a cent off this. Im simply trying to help people get a good fuel tank at a good price... the fuel tank thats a fuel safe in the pic is simply a reference to what the tank would look like....
I sent a email straight to Josh Rhodes asking what certifications the tank has as well as asking about bladders. I am awaiting his response so I can get more info to you all.
And it just so happens that yes I do sell fuel safe products for those wanting a fuel safe cell. But that you need to email me about. This above is for a replacement aluminum tank that looks good, wont rust, and is a safer then stock tank.
We are hoping they have a bladder for these tanks but I will let you all know!
So the way this is set up now is when I get a list of ten people ready to buy, we will get at least 20% OFF THAT ORDER OF TEN PEOPLE. IF WE GET OVER 15 PEOPLE WE GET ALMOST 30% OFF BUT YOU NEED TO BE ON MY NAMES LIST SO WHEN YOU CALL RHODES RACE CARS TO ORDER YOU WILL GET THE DISCOUNT WHEN YOU PAY THEM.

I'm not sure you're going to get 15 people to sign up to buy something when they have no clue if it's what they are looking for... "You may or may not get something you want or need with the money you give me!"
Im not sure what you mean by that last quote " ".... but once I get a respinse back from Josh Rhodes it should clear up everything for everyone and whoever needs a tank and wants one of these will get it exactly how they want it built so im not sure where your going with that.
Ok just got off the phone with Josh the owner. The tanks are more of a stock replacement optionn they will work with E85, they do not offer bladders unfortunately. He was saying for those who will be NHRA racing or something that requires a certified race tank with bladder you gotta go with fuelsafe or some other brand. But for those who want a clean looking replacement tank for show, daily driven, etc this is yhe way to go.
Next, if I get 5 or more people to order, now the tanks ranging from 18-28 gallons will be $400 a tank and that includes a sump option, sending unit, your choice of a fill neck or flat lid, your choice of fitting sizes, foam for baffling and shipping is $20-30 in the US. Not a bad deal at all. So for those who would like to get yiur name on the list to order please email me at blueghostindustries@gmail.com or if you have more questions post below. Once your name is on the list you will call Rhodes to give payment options and I will send them the list of names and how you want your tank built. Once they get the first 5 orders the tanks will go into production and you will be billed.
I understand you are trying to get more details. If it's got a bladder I'll probably be in. We'll just have to wait till you hear back from the manufacturer.
Just posted above lol we must have been typing at the same time. Those who absolutely have to have a bladder email me and I can hook you up with a fuelsafe one. I just need to know what part number you want and ill get you a price. Or tell me what size your looking for and if you want to use the stock filler or not and I can give you your options.
I think I need to talk to my wife about things I want to buy when she has a migraine, she gave me the OK to buy one of these tanks!
I already emailed you with my question. Did you find out anything about an internal pump option? As far as the bladder is concerned, non issue for me. Most of the other options out there for tanks with sump or ready for fuel injection are either way out if my price range, or only 16 gallons. These have the style and look, capacity and price I can be happy about. FYI, in tank fuel pump would be preferred but not a requirement. It would just mean I have to rethink my install a little.
Yes I got the email and replyed already im out in the shop now but will check my email again in a bit. Intank pump is an option but I prefer one mounted to the frame myself.
The way the intank pump would work is you send them the pump or tell me which you are going to use and they will set the tank up accordingly. Unfortunately they do not supply intank pumps.
Hmm, well if I was getting the tanks inc or the aeromotive (same as tanks inc) tank I would get the fuel pump assembly that comes with/offered for the tank. Doubt it matters what pump as much as how the assembly mounts. Wish I could be more specific. If the tank comes with a sump built in, does the in tank pump make sense? This is not my field of expertise.
