'70 Mach1 Tires size problem

I have a '70 Mach1, bought it with 245-60-15 Tires but because of the age, had a blow out. Now it seems almost impossible to find this size tire either in Mexico or the US.
I have the Magnum 500 15" wheels and the 245-60-15 seem to fit nicely. I can get 255-60-15 and would like to know if this size will not cause any problema like rubbing.
What do you think would be the ideal size for this car?.
Sorry for the pictures.

I have a 69 Mach-1 with 17x8's all the way around with 245/45R17's. My tires are Sumitomo's HTR 45Z's (9.6" wide x 25.7" tall). No issues, no fender rolling! Just keep in mind that not all tires are the same size. Also be aware that any performance tire now a a built in 'Rim Protector' which can stick pass the outer rim lip. Looks awkward in my opinion!

Here's a shot of another 17" rim with a newer style tire 'Rim Protector'
This is a Sumitomo HTR P02 (all season tire) inexpensive, good looking but has side wall lip.
