14X8 slot mags

I have this pair of Carolina Cali slot mags.
The Carolina Cali is what is on the inside of the rim from what I can legibly see and read.
I got them for $40.
They look to be from the 60's-70's.
I polished them up with a buff pad on my grinder and they came out real nice.
I have them on my 70 right now.
The finish is way more crisp and smooth as compared to the US Indy's 14X6 I have up front.
Anyone heard of this mag brand?
I've searched multiple sites and nothing.
See pics.
Thanks in advance.

Aluminum slot wheels were extremely popular back in the 70's. Every wheel manufacturer had their own version and made them for vendors who didn't have manufacturing abilities. My guess is that Carolina Cali was one of those vendors that bought wheels from American Racing, Cragar, Fenton, Ansen or some other manufacturer.

I think its quite a novelty to find a cast name on most aftermarket wheels Ive ever seen. Like I only know mine are Progressive brand because of the center cap and so may other wheels nothing was ever found.

Include some Mopar sites or search terms as you research them, same bolt pattern you know. They could be desirable to someone that remembers the name. I think that style is more Mopar-ish, I had some just like that on a '72 Gold Duster, Taz Devil on the rear and all. a.k.a., the start of my hatred for Mopars

I also have some Shelby Cal 500 mags that I really love, 14X9.
They are 5 on 5, so they won't work on Cherylene.
There's probably no way I could even find a decent tire that would look right on it anyways....oh well.
I polished one of them, wishful thinking.
