Styled steel wheels

Has anyone put the 16x8 styled steel wheels on a 65-66? Would love to see pics

I got a set for 65mustang. 16x8 225 tires.

I just purchased these wheels for my 65 FB. After researching I found mixed views on if a 16x8 wheel will fit on the front. What setup are you running on the front of your car? Did you have to make any alterations?

Different wheel same issue- 17x8 wouldn't fit on the front of my '65 with stock suspension. I had to go back to a 17x7 for clearance..

What was the backspacing you ran on the 17x8? Was the fittment issues due to fender rubbing or UCA rubbing?

I was able to fit 16x8 with 225/55's on all 4 corners with no issues to date.

Grew up hearing stories of my fathers first car "the one that got away" and now I'm restoring one of my own.

1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 289 V8, 4 speed, PS, PB, AC
