It depends on the condition of the body structure. I paid $10K for my 70 Mach 1, 302 and FMX not original to the car. The shell was mostly rust free with some front end damage. I probably paid a bit too much, but the car was what I was looking for. Post some pics so we can see what you are looking at. Pics tell so much more than a written description.
