65 GT convertible "A" code
After much internal struggle i have decided that it is time to let my baby go. she deserves to be seen and appreciated by more than just myself.she has spent the past several years sitting 6' in the air on my lift, being pulled out several times a year, driven around the neighborhood & to the gas station, washed & waxed, then back under cover she goes.
she is a complete rebuild, bottom up, OEM fenders & 1/4's. solid core. real GT, has original correct fog light wiring, parking lights go on with fogs, radiator support with fog light wiring holes stamped into it, she had the original kelsey hayes brake distributor block & master cylinder but i upgraded it to a dual master. exhaust bracket supports under the rear seat, & spacers built into the rear frame rails, SHE IS THE REAL DEAL
now, when i built her, i wanted to do my own thing, i wanted her to stand out but not look weird, i think i did a good job.
lemans stripes, racing valance & gt lights, some say, no, i said i love it.
blue & white pony interior, ROBBINS convertible top with folding glass window,
a code 289 engine built up to K code specs. 4 speed toploader transmission, kelsea hayes disc brakes. she has the original gt quick ratio steering box but i also added power assist which makes it a lot nicer to maneuver at slow speeds.
the paint it BMW Z4 Roadster Maldives Blue Metallic
she has less than 1800 miles on her since she was completed.
