1968 1969 tilt steering column

I have a factory tilt column from 1968 or 1969 Mustang or Cougar. It has everything you need for the tilt and tilt away column, but is missing parts that a standard column has or are easily available. Includes factory wires for 1968 or 1969 ( I have both). The ad is in ebay at dj747dj747. Look for a used 1968 ford mustang tilt steering column or search ebay for: 1968 mustang tilt away

The price is now $1280 in ebay ( plus $78 shipping in USA, will ship worldwide) . The price drops every week or so until it is sold. I will give a 5% discount for anyone who buys from this forum and does not go through ebay. I am a trusted source, read the description in ebay. I am on 69stang all the time as danno.

The ad in ebay has more photos and a better description. I am just an old Mustang guy with spare parts I need to get rid of.

Still not sold, but I am getting questions in fleabay listing. I will be lowering the price again soon, and I am gaining confidence it will sell as soon as I do that. So if you want it, buy it now.

It appears to be missing the wire cover and rag joint. These are some of the the rarest and pricy parts. The emergency flasher switch appears to be broken off and itís bezel is missing. The check valve, hoses and vacuum canister are not there, etc.
At your price point people expect a 100% restored and complete system.

My guess would be $800 - $1000 unless you find someone who just have to have it now. As a comparison I took my time and slowly tracked down all the parts over a 2-3 year period and completely restored a system for my car. By the end I had about $700-800 in it and that included every part needed including a repaired activation cable, new turn signal switch etc.
