'68 S-Code Restomod Turn-Key Crate Motor

Hi,

I have a crate motor I had built for a project FB that is long gone.

It is/was freshly built from an Ebay vendor from Oregon who sold a bunch engine blocks and I basically pleaded for him to build this motor to date match my chassis as best as possible. Basically I needed a S-Code 390GT motor to eventually mate to a Tremec 5-SP. Goal was I wanted a turn key power plant w/vintage date matched engine block with modern upgrades: vintage heads, oil pan, fan blade. Shelby valve and oval air filter covers.

Here are the specs I was able to get from him. I am no motor head and since delivery it has never been fired up, much less removed from the crate:

[Sorry I did not write in CAPS!, builder did]

FLYWHEEL IS COMPLETE WITH CLUTCH ASSEMBLY... MOTOR IS AS DESCRIBED.. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF DATE CODE 8-B-17..IS NOW 8-B-30.. FOR THE BLOCK.....AS THIS WAS IS -X - BLOCK....I WANTED TO UP GRADE YOU TO ..THE BETTER BLOCK... THERE ARE A COUPLE OF OTHER ITEMS.. WE HAVE NOT CHARGED FOR .. AND AS REQUESTED: P.S PUMP....BRACKETS...AND PULLIES COMPLETE..... BELL HOUSING.....WE ALSO HAVE 2 UPGRADES ON THIS PROJECT: #1 . INTAKE MANIFOLD. DATE CODES OF YOUR HEADS ARE 8-B-22..8-C-2.. .CASTING # C8AE-H... WILL SEND PICS OF NEEDED...BLOCK IS 8-B-30...WITH BIG -X - IN VALLEY.. THAT'S A BIG UPGRADE ... IN REGARDS TO YOUR MESSAGE... THESE HEADS ARE C8AE-H WITH 16 BOLT 1.65 AND 2.09 STAINLESS STEEL VALVES AS DESCRIBED .. THESE ARE THE CORRECT HEADS FOR YOUR MUSTANG .. TO MATCH YOUR BLOCK... THANKS VERN.

I have no clue on fair value besides what I paid for it to be built.

I will then place this in the classified ads and if no bites, then on to that other E-yucky site.

Make Serious Offer, please. PM me preferably.
