1968 GT Fastback project

All number match the good title. Also have Buck tag and Build sheet. Very solid Georgia car. Originally lime gold, black interior, few options, J-code, 4 speed. Includes most of the fastback specific interior pieces. Due to a tarp, there is rust around the rear window. Old damage to the roof and rear quarters as well. Lastly, had a battery in the trunk, so needs one new trunk floor. I would also put on 2 full quarters and a roof skin for a very nice project! No engine, but have vin stamped toploader, original drive shaft, and original 9". $16,500.00

Viperpete, your comments are not welcome, even though you feel the need to express your opinion on my "for sale" ad. There is a "general comments" section for opinions...Thanks for your future consideration. Jack

So if I said that the price was too low that would be acceptable? Get a grip dude.
What did you end up selling it for?

I looked around but couldn't find anyone to talk to about it. The side door of the trailer was open, but I didn't want to crawl in and take a look with nobody there Was it a 2 car deal- roof swap I assume by the way the fb sat so low? Good luck if you get it- looked like it could be a fun project!

Well, my friend, commenting on anyone's sale item is not proper etiquette in my opinion. You are either interested, therefore you begin a conversation with the seller, or you are not interested and have no right to possibly subvert my sale to another "interested" party. No need for me to get a grip as I just dismiss the fact that you maybe do not understand this etiquette. As stated, general comments are not acceptable unless you have actual (verifiable) knowledge of wrong-doing or deceptive practices. Why wold you offer your opinion of value? In this case, you were wrong as the car sold for considerably more, so what was the point, other than to express your inaccurate opinion. Let's learn the lesson and move on. All is good...Jack

Yeah, the fastback is pretty rough, and that was his thinking. But, still worth pursuing. I'll keep you posted! Cheers, Jack

What... is with this place... inaccurate or accurate opinions? Its an opinion! So you just want to censor someone if they don't agree with you or have what you consider relevant/accurate information or opinions?

All is not good.

I find it shocking how many members here like to tell other members what to do and how to behave.
Ive never seen more a pompous and self absorbed mentality than here in this car forum. My Viper/Ferrari and even other Mustang forum owners don't puke as much as people here. If someone posts a Viper for sale and their price is out of whack, or a little high, or just right, or too low, it is not a BAD thing for other forum members to communicate their opinions. Often times its the other members that know someone who's looking for a car... Not the for sale ad on the forum that does the selling.
Its an opinion.

I'm glad you sold the car. I'm glad it sold for considerable more than what I thought it would have. I don't mind being proven wrong. But don't tell me I have a wrong opinion.
