Without starting a pissingmatch You asked a question " So why isnít anyone saying" and I answered. Also a 450# bike is less of a threat to every one else on the road than a 2500# car. In many areas law enforcement won't even chase a bike they'll just come scrape you up latter..
As far as how fast or not I've been and how much HP or not I have There's an old adage something to the effect of "Speed cost money how fast can you afford to go" I do what I can.
I don't drink,smoke,do drugs,Caffeine,Ect

No pissing match just conversation. U can say why does any car have over 140hp right like a Honda. Why have cars factory w that much my mom use to say the speed limit is only 65 ..... yeah then why make most every car capable of 100 plus. U just made a point about not taking it to the track and Iím just saying it wonít see the track yet i love hp and exceleration. Call it a waste of money but itís really about 1500 diff to make a car 700 hp or 1300

Impressive.

Youíre doing so much fab work already with the mini tub, I really think you should reconsider and add a complete back half kit to be able to use the 1,30 hp.

Even if it is just for the street, itíd be nice to be able to hook.

With this totally unsolicited advice to the side, I fully understand this not being a track car.

If I ever get my garage back Iíd like to move forward on my own build; a back half, Pro Street, 557 with Boss Nine heads. Iíll be targeting 800 hp, on pump gas that will start and idle with no isssues, as reliable as a daily driver.

Itíll be a straight line, weekend only Toy,......why?

Because thatís what I want.

Thatís what itís a bout what u want and whatís fun. I see drag looking cars at car shows all the time and i know they donít see the track huge pointless cams (cause they sound cool). What i like about the turbo is w a push of a button it can have 500 800 or 1300hp. Really the mini tub i can get a 26 tire maybe even a 28 if i wanted so no need to do a full tub. U got any pic of your car ?

Well, I love it!! Build the dang thing how you want to and go have the time of your life!! We're only going around this rock one time so if you want a 1300HP axle tearing, rubber band-tire shredding, twin turbo'd, NOS double super mega charged 66 Mustang then build it and reap the rewards of your labor!! Keep at it and maybe some day get this thing on a chassis dyno I would LOVE to see those numbers. Quite honestly 1300hp or even 750hp is beyond my comprehension as I'm just an old school fat kid who thinks 400hp is outstanding. However, I'd love to have a 1,000hp street car!! Good luck with the build.

In my much younger days I bought a 70 Torino Gt with 351 and worn good-for-nothing Daytona SS tires. Made for a lot of fun, I could light tires up at will. I was too cheap to buy new tires and I was having blast wearing the last of these out.

Then one afternoon with slightly damp roads, a VW Beetle ran off and left me while I was trying to get traction leaving a stop light. Good lesson. I learned that I like to be able to apply the power to the road.

Yeah the motor Iím using came out of my cobra that put down 950 to the wheels so around 1100 crank and it had a stock computer and more boost to put to it. So i figure w a stand alone computer bigger injectors and going twins picking up an extra 150 hp should be fairly easy. It might me a little bit away but u can bet Iíll have video of it on the dyno.
