I am seeing on forum that people apologise for mess in garage. I dont want to start because there wont be end of repeating myself
This few days I have help from my frend and things getting done.. thanx Galić
Prepearing for some welding and grinding some new sheet metal ..

DIY bolts for export brace. No cowl no problem
My frend helping me with cutting new sheet metal.
DIY press for small sheet metal bending. Work flawles..
Repearing inner wheel house rust damage.
New rear rails in place.
Reaktiv 2k on everything.

Some black paint on dash and cowl because of accessibility.
Rust repair under cowl.

Today was very productive day.
cowl is in and welded
rear rail and wheel houses painted.
export brace mounted and tower sit in place..
removing front frame rail...

so much to do but i am happy and that's counts

mocking up frame rail & torx box...
parts are good, just some hammering and it's in place.
nice to work with finished sheet metal components..

some prep before putting rail in place..
more parts come from sandblasting
ebay tips but too small i think
front rail in place and welded...

I am father for the second time. now mustang will be in future for Dorijan and David
And ofcourse less time for work... but i have time until they get older..

Tipical problem on stang with double sheet metal..
2mm pach and then 0.8mm on top.
welding pinholes with help of copper tube. cool results..

rear fender aprons came flat and no holes..
no problem for my diy press.
apron in place and welded..
left side almost done oujeaaa...
I have new front left apron but i have saved original and will be hammered/flattened just because of vin..
On last pic you can see gap between shock towers after mounting export bace..

There is a difference between 30$ and 50$ sheet metal

Dynacorn - 1mm metal -put on prepared car and fix with two clamps and ready to weld. --- 5min

cheap cj pony - 0.7mm metal - does not have holes for bolts
1cm to wide on shock tower side
not bent on fender side
poor fitment on cabin side --- 3hours

Next time I will know

Not yet. I am planning to do the drop. Only problem is with upper ball joint and its angle...
trying to find solution for that first then drilling holes.
plan is drop and original old springs just for little lower than stock..
and for the back new leaf spring from cj some cheap and "stock"

little red dots are approximately inch lower

Why do you ask ?
