Found the problem with the shifting. When I put the vacuum modulator in, I did not get the modulator to TV rod seated correctly. Got that fixed and took it out for a ride. I have just spent hours trying to get this video uploaded. Seems both FB and YouTube have removed their native ability to view 360 degree videos.

1. The camera is backward, so pan around to the front to see where I am going, or enjoy where I have been.
2. Camera microphone freaked out from 0:23 to 0:36, sorry.

Turnall and 68Hildago like this.

This took a while, but its done. Just need the little rubber bumpers that I had to order from CJP and I can take the blue tape off.

Very cool! You're ahead of me now.

Why does your engine sound like it has a supercharger bolted on top?

Currently working on a 1970 Mach 1 project. See it here: http://forums.vintage-mustang.com/vi...ode-build.html

Unfortunately, the simple trip around the block broke both welds and had one of the bars dragging on the ground. Back up on the ramps it went and I broke out the welder, cranking it up I weld them both back on. I take the car out for another test ride and can definitely tell they're they're working. The car is much snappier in acceleration, popping the throttle makes the front end jump right up. It still has no traction though, the tires break loose and it gets a little sideways through 1st gear. Sorry, I'll have to mount the camera next time.
Looks great.

I remember having mine welded on about 40 years ago - I was so paranoid they would break off....many autocrosses and 1/4 mile passes along with 30k miles on the street - they are still working perfectly.

The car is looking great. Right now I'm envying your Florida weather. We had a full-blown blizzard here in Colorado Springs yesterday. Every time I want to do something on my car, I have to paint something. And I can't paint when the weather is below freezing.

Passenger side done. The stripe kit is a newer one, note NOS but about 10 years old. Started using the wet application but did not like it and went back to the old dry install method. That worked better.
