"Earl Scheib would do it for $29.95"

Who could forget these commercials?!

Every 5 Years.....The price went up another $25 bucks...lol... and with that "Special Quartz Finish!".... I remember my family had our 1969 Nova Painted there in about 1979 or 1980... and the guy came out with a color Pallette of 12 colors to choose from....What was on the color Pallete was what you got...so you had 12 choices.....that was it! Earl Schieb died in 1992....and I think that he did these commercials until he literally dropped..lol.. Classic..

19?? - This is the "Eternal AD" that everyone in the country (USA) saw in their Daily Newspaper for 60 something years... They literally never changed the Newspaper Ad except for the price! Talk about cheap Advertising!.....Notice how Earl Schieb looks like he's in his 30's or 40's The pic must be from 1955....lol...no lie.. This is the Ad that my mother saw for our family 1969 Chevy Nova except it was $69.95...and that was in 1979/1980.

1977- Don't forget the $10 Free "Metal Work"...lol.. and a Paint job for- Only $49.95

1986 - (1978 or 1979 Ford Fairmount in the video....'Memba them) - Only $99.95

Their company website shows this now...

Other Locations

Apparently the Company shops all closed in 2010, However, Some Privately owned "Franchise Painting Stores" still exist today in 2019 and still dwindling...mostly out West..
