Friday 7/23/04 is Mustang night in Downers Grove.

It's actually "Pony Car" night, but I would like to flood the reserved parking area with Mustangs. Last year we had the Chebbies slightly outnumbered and hope to blow them away this year.

The show is from 6:00 to 9:00 every Friday night. The village reserves Curtis Street parking (East of Main Street) for the featured cars of the week. Good spots fill up fast and I plan on getting there around 5:30.

Here's a link to a map: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...5pGXEffA%3d%3d

There is usually a very big turnout each week. It's a fun way to wander thru town and see lots of cars. Hope to see a lot of you there. ::

I will try to make it that night. Maria works on Friday, so I will have to decide which car to bring up.

Thanks Paul for keeping us posted. Unfortunately, we'll be leaving on vacation that afternoon. We are planning to hit Downers Grove's cruise night soon since it's not too far away. So far, we have only done Lombard and Wheaton cruise nights.

Are you bringing the banner?

Please DON'T let them play the Cubs. I don't think they can take another beating.
I guess, I still have to believe?
I will be there. Stil debating which car to bring.
Leaning towards the Mach, but I would love to test how well the new 4 row rad works on the convert I put in today.

I'd like to come out, weather sounds like it will be perfect tomorrow. I work over in Warrenville, so I can drive over from there but that means I'll be kinda' early..probably around 5pm. Anyone else think they will be there by then?

Randy - click on the mapquest link in the first post above. If you zoom in to the closest view, you can see where Curtis and Main intersect. That's where you want to be. You can enter the downtown area from either the North or the South on Main Street. Then turn East onto Curtis (one way). That area will be reserved for Ponycars. Look for the Mustangs...

We should be up there around 5:30 or so. Plan on having dinner somewhere near by. Plenty to eat in walking distance.
