I went to this show two years ago at the Ford dealership and I was wondering if anyone from here is attending? Is it still at the Ford dealership? I have just finished my complete resto on my 69 convertible and I will be hitting the All Ford shows. I am about 100 miles south of Chicago.
I plan on hitting the big MCA Springfield, Ill show and the East Peoria and Decatur shows also. Well maybe I will see some of you Chicago VMF'ers out there.

I went last year when they moved it to Perry Farm Park, a very nice setting with plenty of trees and shade for both cars and people. I'm not sure whether or not I'll go. I believe it's the same day as the Landmark Ford show in Niles.

Here's more info on the show. Show Details

I think my wife and I will go. It just depends on how things are at that morning. Neither of our cars are show quality, but we still like to show up and see all the other cars.

I will be there. I pre-registered awhile ago. The setting is excellent for a show and the forecast for this coming Sunday is 82 and sunny.

I already registered. Myself & a budy with a 65 Blk Conv't. are going. Haven't done this show before due to schedule conflicts, but looking forward to it. Perry Farm is a great location and I've been to other cars shows at that location. Sould be a nice relaxing day.

Very nice setting. I showed my 65 Fastback until I sold it early last summer and now I show the 68 F100. It's one of two shows I will never miss, mainly because it was the very first place I showed the fastback and the people are great. Turnout last year wasn't huge because bad storms in the suburbs kept people away but it is MUCH better than the Ford dealer as there is plenty of shade and you won't boil on asphalt!

Ken--
This is a great show for the kids because of the playground area and the games they have (my son Jack gets most of his school supplies from "throwing the Chevy into the toilet" game!). My fastback didn't look nearly as good as either of your cars when I first showed it but I had a blast showing it and I picked up plenty of pointers. The main reason I go every year is to see the couple from New Lenox that show their 66 fastback and 68 Shelby and really got me started in the hobby (I wonder if Jim and Mary are in this club). Anyway, by all means come out...I'm bringing my truck but I only hang out with the Mustangers! ::

NEWS FLASH.
I'm trying to swap days off with a fellow here at work. So maybe I'll be there with Miss July.

Oh, and we ARE wearing our Chicago VMF shirts aren't we?

Sounds good guys. I will be there with my dad. He has a chrome yellow with black shelby stripes 66 convertible and I have a 69 royal maroon convertible. Stop by and check them out. Both total restorations just completed. Hope to see some VMF guys there.

I think we will bet there. I just found out my niece had her baby yesterday so I don't know for sure?
I think we will decide Sat. night. I am leaning towards being there.
Will will register at the event.
Oh, yes, we will wear our VMF shirts.

Mark, even if we don't make it, we will be in Morris!

Hi. I was the president and show director for the Bourbonnais show. I am still a club member. Thank you for all the good comments on our show. We strive to make our show better every year. This year we will have some fantastic door prizes and the goody bags weigh about 5lbs. Also a food vendor will be onsite this year. Please, come park on the grass and sit under a tree. If you have any questions please contact me. John

Maria and I were talking. Our only problem, we don't know if we want to bring both cars, or just one. These are the type of problems I like to have. ::
We wil definitely be there. Probably not until closer to 9:30 10:00am. I have to come up here (Shorewood) first before we drive down south.
Looking forward to seeing you guys there!
