A man had 50 yard line tickets for the Bear's game. As he sits down, a man comes down and asks if anyone is sitting in the seat next to him. "No," he says, "the seat is empty."

"This is incredible," said the man. "Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the Bears game, the biggest sporting event in the world, and not use it?"

He says, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was supposed to come with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first Bears game we haven't been to together since we g ot married in 1967."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. But couldn't you find someone else -- a friend or relative, or eve n a neighbor to take the seat?"

The man shakes his head. "No, they're all at the funeral."

Go Bears!

Here's another one....

A second grade teacher asks her students to raise their hands if they are Colts fans. Not really knowing what a Colts fan was, but wanting to be liked by their teacher, their hands flew into the air. There is, however, one exception. Susie has not gone along with the crowd.

The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different.
"Because I'm not a Colts fan" she reports.
"Then," asks the teacher, "what are you?"
"I'm a Chicago Bears fan," boasts the little girl.

The teacher asks Susie why she is a Bears fan.
"Well, my Dad and Mom are Bears fans, so I'm a Bears fan, too" she responds.
"That's no reason," the teacher says. "What if your mom was a moron, and your dad was an idiot. What would you be then?"

Susie smiles and says, "Then I'd be a Colts fan." :p

Hey, I'm on a role here....

Indianapolis (AP) -- Indianapolis Colts football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. Head coach Tony Dungy immediately suspended practice while police and federal investigators were called to investigate. After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line chalk powder.

Practice resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again...

Sorry to hear you can't go.your buddy is lucky..my brother called me over the weekend and got tickets. I had the chance to go..but wow, factor the price of the ticket ,plus flying, plus everything else worked out to be a small fortune. Guess I should check my lottery tickets cause right now I will be enjoying the game here in Chicago.

Top Surprises for Super Bowl XLI
Monday, Jan. 29, 2007

• Peyton Manning will play game disguised by the fake mustache he wears in his Sprint commercial.

• Thanks to El Nino, game time weather conditions will be 30 degrees with snow flurries.

• Bears third-string QB Kyle Orton will set a new record for body shots at Wet Willie's.

• NBC's John Madden shows up and tries to cover the game anyway. Half of his prep notes deal with Brett Favre's possible retirement.

• Mike Singletary's eyes successfully transplanted into Brian Urlacher's head. Urlacher finishes game with 104 tackles.

• Both teams fall asleep in locker room when halftime show stretches to three hours.

• Bears CB Ricky Manning, Jr. unable to play after being arrested for beating up "dork" who was using laptop at beach.

• Thanks to a large Chicago contingency, Dolphin Stadium runs out of beer early in second quarter.

• CBS' broadcast of the game is interrupted by Jim Nantz' awkward marriage proposal to Phil Simms. Simms declines.
