Into Mopars now for 30 years so know very little about Fords. If anyone can give me some pointers etc.. i would appreciate it. BTW i grew up in Schiller park and there was a guy that lived there a doctor i think that had 6 to 8 69/70 mustangs when i was a kid in the late 70's to 80's boss's Machs etc.. house still has a bunch of old cars there, seemed a few ford guys i ran into know about him... anyway here is the thread i started. Thanks Mike

Condition will dictate the price in most instances. You might bump into a car in this area that isn't too bad. But, I have looked at some that, in no way would I touch. They were that rusty. And the owner had some way out there price on it.
As fas as codes go, there are books available that will tell you what you want to know.
And, always, buy a Marti report ( Marti Auto Works - Concourse Quality, Hobbyist Price ) when considering a 67 on up Mustang. buy the cheap report to just see what the car was built with, where it was sent, and the price.

69/70 Mustang fastbacks, (AKA sport roofs) can be had for a low of $4000 but it would be rusty or missing parts. You never know, you just might bump into somebody who needs to get rid of one.
