I have a '65 C-code 289, it is complete from air filter to oil pan. It is not seized but don't know the condition of the engine; the car was last inspected in '78... Looking for $100, buyer to pick-up in West Chester, PA
Thanks

I will try to post the casting date but, it probably won't work for you (I saw in another thread you were looking for something in Jul-Aug) this car was built April 28th (second year) so, the engine is most likely date coded too late for you - it is the original engine.

The Casting # on the block is C5AE-6015E, I also found on the front of the block what appears to be the date code (although I am not 100% sure) it was 5D20T.

Hope this helps,
Rich

Got the e mail, you don't by chance have any pictures do you ? Just trying to avoid a trip if it's not what i need. Also is it for a 5 or 6 bolt bellhousing, and is it out of the car ?

Thanks,
Jim
