Anyone headed to Harbor Freight to buy before the Tarrifs

I've been thinking about doing a run today but I really don't need anything so I would be browsing which is always the most expensive mode to be in. Wondering also if I should be ordering anything from the catalogs before time runs out. Who knows how long this standoff will last and life will likely get noticeably more expensive.

Any thing you would purchase before the hammer drops. While already in effect, they do not count towards anything already ordered or in transit which takes 3 weeks on a slow boat from China. So they expect prices to ramp over the next few weeks...

I went there Friday. Got another 1.5 ton aluminum floor jack for $59 so I'm all set.

I have a serious problem with Harbor Freight and their business practices. They have no problem buying from suppliers that openly farm other people's IP....

I tend to buy stuff right when I need it. I just enjoy overpaying I guess.

I have a bunch of unopened boxes of stuff that was a good price that I have never used and probably never will.

I usually: see it...have to have it...order it online...overnight it (including rediculous charges)... then try to remember where I put it when I actually NEED it 6 months later. Then reorder it when I don't remember where I put it...

I went there two days ago and bought a pancake compressor for my Brad gun less than fifty bucks. I need it for ceiling tiles too cheap not to buy. Beats a hand stapler!

Yea, and no matter how long I search, I never find the first one until I go to put away the second one. Every damn time.

I've also been looking at the 1.5 ton aluminum jack .
I bought a 3 ton Arcan from Costco , but the 1.5 ton should be easier to haul around
and use on the Honda's.

68 302-4V w/1.84",1.54" ported , Comp XE268H , 2200 rpm Hughes converter, 3.25 9" w/10x2.5" shoes , MSD box/distrib , RPM intake , 670 Holley , cross flow aluminum radiator , Granada discs......

It won't make that much difference. What Harbor Freight pays for something isn't what we pay. They'll pay the tariff on what the bare wholesale cost at the Chinese factory is, not the retail price.
