What in the cornbread he** ?

Damn, it is going to get mega hot in Alabama. 90 tomorrow then-91-93-95-96-97-98-99-99-97 F and maybe more over the next week. WTF? This is insane heat, for May. Anyone going to be that hot or more through the next week? It may hit 100 F next weekend. Wow, more like mid August-early Sept. weather down here. Central Alabama, going to be roasting. lol
P.S. the average high temp should be around 80-85 F.

1 cup self rising flour, 1 cup yellow corn meal, 1 egg, milk to make a thick batter.

Crisco a cast iron skillet, bake at 350 until golden brown.

Serve with a pot of hamhocks and pinto beans.

Thats cornbread.

Windy and cool here in southeastern AZ with temps down to 35* where I live. Usually it's already close to oven hot this time of year, and looking forward to the rainy season in about 1.5 months.

Probably my fault now that we've settled in after our move to Lower Alabama and have finally got the Fastback down here from South Dakota just a couple weeks ago.

If it's any consolation, the west side of South Dakota was under a winter storm warning and the east side (where I'm originally from) had freeze/frost warnings.

This heat (and humidity) has felt real good for this golfer's back, but come August I may have a different opinion.

Glad to see you finally got it down here. Maybe we'll get to cruise one evening. Sounds like the days will be a bit hot with no AC, though I drive mine anyway. I just don't want to hear any complaining from my crew haha

It is 54 degrees right now here in central KY, predicted to hit 83 a little after lunch and in the 90s by Friday.

Glad I got the pool ready to open over the weekend, wife and grandkids will be hounding me to get it ready to jump in this weekend!

My plant in Tifton, GA is forecasting 102 next week. I've seen some reports as high as 108.

We have a nice, muggy seabreeze here so our temp isn't projected to get above 94.
