If selling cars is your dream...than give it a shot.
That being said...my go to advice in these situations IF YOU CAN use the value you've built in yourself through your entire career, you are very likely to be able to make more money in less hours by doing that. In your case that would mean the electrician thing.
Seems to me that you might be best served by working for a GC and doing that sort of work.
Again...unless selling cars is just something in your blood.

Itís not that itís a dream or desire itís more of a employment option. Sort of thinking outside the box. I understand switching things up there is going to be a learning curve, meaning time invested. Working for a contractor is a option that I havenít ruled out. What made me think about it was a salesman at the dealer I brought my truck from. My friendís wife worked at the dealer and said Al who was one of their top salesman had blown through his savings after retiring from the phone company non sales and HAD to find a full time job.
