got hit in my daily last week.....

so I got t boned by an old lady last week, impact was only about 15 mph. anyway, her insurance tried to total my truck! the picture shows ALL the damage. it's all outer sheet metal damage, nothing else, the inner rocker isn't touched, and not even a wrinkle in the floor pan. the door still opens and closes fine, no wind noise, etc. after a few days of arguing with them, they finally paid me out $2800 for the damage.

Garage
Nice- Same happened to me last Fall. The lady pulled into my on the left side front corner- got the header panel, headlight, wheel, hub, and fender molding of my truck (It was still mechanically fine). After about 6-7 weeks I finally got a check for about $2,600 for repairs. They agreed with the estimates I'd gotten, but they cut about $300 for 'age' or some crap like that. I wasn't too butt hurt over it- I actually had the parts in the barn to fix it (even same color) but best of all- I'd just bought the truck for $3,500 a month earlier. Now I'm sitting in it for less than $1K! Since it's still drivable, I HIGHLY recommend you sink that dough into finishing the F100!! LOL

You can get a truck bed and door for $100 ! Then you'd still have to weld up the cab corner.

don't need a bed, that small part can be pulled back into shape easily. doors are $50 from the yard and I can cut the cab corner from the same yard for like $20

yeah, the you pull yards are dirt cheap here, and most newer stuff isn't rusty. if I still lived in mass, i'm sure the prices would be much higher
