I was in Tempe and Scottsdale in the Summer of '92 at a record 127 Degrees there. I felt like I was on the sun... Even back in '92 Tempe and Scottsdale had Red Light cameras all over the place...

You'll see some creative modifications on license plates in AZ.

A new Arizona law now outlaws any covering of license plates, even clear ones. If people still have the smoked colored ones or the ones that are reflective it is only a matter of time before a patrol person stops them and gives them a ticket.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. Spent eight days in Arizona and had no problems. It was nice to see the Interstate posted at 75. Made it easy to stay within the limit. A beautiful state with cheap fuel prices; compared to California prices.

I was referring to the license plates themself. Sprayed, modified to reflect light oddly on characters, purposely weathered/scratched to have a C look like O, and much more.
