Found a place in Council Bluffs that chemically strips auto parts. Custom Metal Cleaning, 17027 State Orchard RD. C.B IA. 51503 402-676-7542.

I had 2 doors, 2 fenders, and the 2 interior quarters stripped for less than the cost of media blasting the same pieces. I picked them up on Saturday and they look pretty darn good. He has a 4 -5 day process that dips for cleaning/neutralizes/dips for rust/neutralizes/dips for protection (flash rust)

I give a excellent reccomendation to anybody who needs to have this done.

Pictures hopefully later this evening.

I have two doors to do. I may take advantage of those services if I can't find anything closer to home, thanks.

$60/piece for door/fender size. He can do hood size and larger. I had 7 pieces done for $340.
