Just a quick question for you - on a 66 mustang - how do you locate the front axle centerline from the engine compartment? Is there a bolt or a hole you measure from to find the center line?

I put on my Avatar to PM me directly @ [email protected]. I rarely sign in so I won't see if I have any messages. You need to run a 4 3/4 backspace for the front with a 8 inch rim. The back is 5.5 with a 9 inch or 9.5.

Do you know if I can use American racing rims that are 17x8 with an offset of +8mm?

I have R and C front suspension and explorer 7.8 rear end. The chart dodgestang made shows 4.5 back spacing

    Thanks

Vic, the only time we do the upgrade from Modern is when we are doing the Coyote. You might have a tough time using your stock console. I respond faster if you use my regular email. [email protected].

    Rich,
I have a '65 and bought a TKO600, but now hear about poor shifting with this transmission. Do you feel they shift poorly? Do you have any experience with the carbon fiber syncro's that Modern Driveline sells for this trans to improve the shifting?

I also want to run a stock console and was wondering that if I went with a t-56 instead if I could still use the stock console after modifying the trans tunnel.

    thanks in advance,

    Vic

Gimpy, Yes it will but it's made for our noses only, not for the stock set up like yours.

Rich: Does your radiator support cover (67) come w hood latch catch latch cut out? I don't trust my measuring, cutting ability. I'm one handed.

    Thanks,
    Gimpy

    Hi Rich,

I'd like to order the MC for the coyote swap from you. To be clear, I have about 5.75" from the face of the firewall to the back of the engine. Is the Cylinder bore 7/8"? I have wiwoods at all corners. Thanks, Jim
