my posts have been disappearing so here ya go....An eng works best when all the parts are matched. In other words if you have a single plane 7000 rpm intake you do not want to run a small 5500 rpm cam etc., so it will help to know what parts you have and what parts you are willing to change. You can make your existing cam more friendly by advancing it 4 6 degrees. This will increase compression and lower total rpm range but it will only be a small change. If you have a single plane intake it will also help to go to an eddy rpm type. It will also be helpful to know your goals like:

How much fwy driving and at what speeds do you plan on doing?

What are all your current specs including head cc and dish or flat top pistons?

Heres one option to look at:

Comp xe268h cam = noticeable change.

Comp xe262h cam = huge change and sort of mild cam 411s wont work well with it.

Gearing is easy for you to figure out what you want but it I wanted street perf with some lower speed fwy driving I might run 350s 373s.

Maybe around a 2200 rpm stall.

Eddy dual plane rpm intake or similar.

Around a 670 cfm holley street avenger annular boost venture carb but if you want mechanical secondaries then maybe a 650 holley.
