    Hi,

    I picked up the pulleys you recommended to do the serpentine belt conversion they don't line up - water pump pulley sticks out past crank pulley. Are you using a short water pump by chance? Appears if i used one it would being the pulleys in closer alignment.

    Yeah, the springs will take a bit to settle, I ended up having to cut a half coil off mine to sit the way I wanted.
    I am using the original 8" rear. I am under 400 HP so it can handle that as long as I don't put slicks on it.
    The 8 inch has 3.25 gears, Auburn traction device, Lincoln MK VII rear disks, 225 60 R15's on Shelby ten spoke wheels.

    I bought the Laurel Mountain Mustangs - front end kit (stock). So now my front end is sitting quite high until the springs sag a bit. I put on Maverick/Comet front discs.

    The explorer rear is a 3.73 with discs. Everything I have read is that it is about 1/4" wider

    I am also running 15" Magnum 500's (repo) with 255/60's on rear and 215/60's on front. So my fender gap to tire looks off as u can imagine.

    Are you running the diff with the offset pinion or did you shorten the long side?

    No problem... message away. I do have an Explorer rear, but not 4.5 grab-a-tracs. I have 5 leaf standard eye springs with KYB shocks. I would honestly love about another 1/2" or so lift back there to be honest. Looks slightly off with the 17" wheels... just in the middle of being tucked and raked. Also, I'm probably going to be adding spacers back there (the explorer is slightly narrower than stock mustang), looking at the eibach 1" seem to be the way to do it right, well as right as not spending another pile of cash on wheels with different backspacing. I'm running SN95's (recommended by Vintage Venom to clear the late model cobra brakes and rotors up front)
