I do not duck in to this thread very often, but on a rare occasion I got some productive stuff done:
Hung both headers, without cussing
Hung the X pipe and muffler section
Installed the plugs and wires
Set the E fan shroud and mounted it
Added my ground distribution block behind the gauges
Added a large number of items to my "to do" list, and crossed a few off.

1-2 weeks and she should be running again, been down since early July 2015.

I finally fixed my belt squeak. Any startup that required a little gas pedal would always result in a nasty belt squeal for a split second. No matter how tight I made the belt, it still occurred. It turns out that my water pump pulley was making light contact with the alternator's lower mounting arm--the one with the slot. I ground a bit off the arm and now it's perfect.

Did you get a T56 to install while you're at it? Lol, that's my plan...just have to complete the other 978,201 things on my to do list first.

Nope, but that would be nice. I've been trying to blow-up this $350 Craigslist T5 for several years, and it just won't fail. At this point I've spent more than twice that on all of the parts around it (i.e. hydraulic clutch actuation system and clutch components themselves). Once the T5 goes, then it'll be time for a beefier tranny and a 9".

Sprayed a couple of coats of "Ragg Top" fabric protectant on the convertible top.

Pulled the engine to swap the timing cover and pump to a drivers side inlet as well as for some other piddly things

Bent, bubble flared, and installed stainless brake lines. Juries out on whether they'll leak or not. Also mounted the brake master cylinder and proportioning valve courtesy of Wilwood.
