Installed the oil pan that I modified on my coyote, then rolled the engine back in. Once again it is just hanging off the lift waiting for motor mounts.
I also uped up the box that arrived from Vintage Air and fondled the parts...

Let the '67 rest for a day at home and had the wife take me to work (picking me up later to go to dinner with friends by work so that we don't have two cars to take home).

Rorin67 agreed. Damn that's a nice car ! And SoCal you s%&k

14 inches of snow in Wichita yesterday. I'm not complaining - A snow day, No work, city closed.

Played with my 69 Mach. What did I do ? Scrapping 44 years of under coating off, still not complaining, it's on the rotiss.

Then at the end of the day. I turn it upright and put a dust cover on it !

I'm complaining because I wanted to put my car together this weekend, and my converter is stuck at Chance converters just west of Wichita!! It was supposed to ship two days ago, and it's just sitting up there

Good sir, I greatly appreciate it, but apparently UPS isn't running. Chance sent the converter out to shipping, and it's in UPS's possession, but they're unable to move it due to weather.

Removed the seat tracks from the passenger side seat because it would not move. Found one of the tracks, the part that bolts to the floor was bent slightly causing it to bind up. I stripped all the old paint off straightened it & lubed it & it works great now. Now I just need some warmer weather so I can repaint them.

Test drove the car for the first time after replacing the UCA, LCA, and strut rods. Also did the Shelby drop. Car drove like a new car in that it tracked straight down the road, did not follow the ridges in the road, and had no signs of bump steer. I'm very pleased with myself :-)

Rebuilt the door hinges for the ragtop restoration and started the fastback and let it run in the garage. Snow bound in the garage. Bummer

Put a new Holley Ultra Dp temporary Fuel line. Fired right up, but smells a little fat. Need to get a couple sets of plugs and spring weather. And a set of spark plug wires would be good.

Replaced two of the three header flange nuts on the drivers side. Went for my first long cruise (150 mi), with my local club yesterday. First time more than 10 mi from home. Ran perfect except for the two nuts coming off. Got 18.6 mpg on regular gas. Very pleased right now. Finally starting to get a little back from a couple of years of work and $$$$$.
