Yukon Duragrip install and new gears

Just received my limited slip, can't figure out if I want to swap it myself or have a shop do it. I don't have a dial indicator, but from what I can tell, the wear pattern will actually tell me if I'm spot on or need adjustment. Never done gears before and I don't mind saving money, I'd like to keep the rear end in the car. Does anyone have any write ups or pointers for this situation? its a Ford 8inch gears are 4.10's I should be cruising at a semi comfortable 2700ish at 80 mph.

Go to youtube and check out AutoRestomod, they have done an in-depth segment on a 9" differential rebuild. I've watched it and they cover everything.

Dial indicators from HF are inexpensive and good enough for diff work, also a shop manual is your best friend for the info you need.
