Just received my limited slip, can't figure out if I want to swap it myself or have a shop do it. I don't have a dial indicator, but from what I can tell, the wear pattern will actually tell me if I'm spot on or need adjustment. Never done gears before and I don't mind saving money, I'd like to keep the rear end in the car. Does anyone have any write ups or pointers for this situation? its a Ford 8inch gears are 4.10's I should be cruising at a semi comfortable 2700ish at 80 mph.

What is your overdrive gear ratio?
