Barn full of 65-66 Mustang parts

I am a new member and have a barn full of 65 and 66 Mustang parts that have been stored since the 90’s. My father was big into the Mustang hobby and kept everything he took off of cars from doors to glass to trim pieces. I am trying to find the best way to sell the parts. Any suggestions on how to find someone who may want to buy them in bulk. I am tired of selling on piece at a time.

My father would buy wrecked 65 and 66 Mustangs in the late 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s and rebuild them to sell them locally. When he died in 2002 the Atlanta Journal did an article about his life as the Mustang Man who had restored over 200 mustangs in his life. He left me a 1965 Convertible ( the car in my profile) a 66 coupe and a 65 fastback. He also left me a barn full of parts.

Give Fast Freddie a call. From what I hear he'll offer you $1000 for the lot and then piece it out for $100,000!

Don’t call Mustang Masters. They are crooks. We had a great guy in Pensacola who had worked on Mustangs for years. When he passed MM was brought in to auction off the 50 plus cars and parts. He basically stole all the high dollar parts and then sold off the junk. Th widow got a clean yard and barn, but far less than she should have in cash, while MM made off with a ton of rare parts. They also have a long history of selling counterfeit parts and other unsavory behaviors. I would never deal with them.

There is a guy in the Birmingham AL area that does essentially the same thing as your late father did. He would likely buy it all from you. Of course...members on this forum are quite happy to buy it from you a piece at a time forever...you will get far more for the parts a piece at a time.

Most buyers or sellers cannot handle a large transaction of buying a mustang used parts business and to an outside person that thinks even getting 10 percent of what a part may be worth selling piece by piece should get has no idea of the work and investment involved to accomplish a sale of bulk parts and cars. I did many years ago and lost money on both ends of buying and selling and had a great reputation with my customers but looking back I could have made a fortune if I could have just bought and held for 20 years or so. Such is life and I have no regrets as my mustang business was the joy I lived for. Wes

So I am new to this forum and am trying to determine how to post pictures of some of my parts. I have several doors with light rust. Not sure what they are worth because of the rust at the base of the doors but they are original. I have a lot of original door glass and quarter windows. Not sure why my dad saved those but there must be 20 sets. I have a bundle of chrome trim, probably a 100 pieces. I have several seats but they are all passenger seats. I guess he used all of the driver seats. I have a bench seat which I thought was rather rare. I would like to post some pictures and try to get them to someone who might need some of these parts of someone can provide instructions. Thanks.

I need a good complete set of stainless 65-66 windshield trim thanks to an errant rock and a good passenger seat frame and tracks thanks to post-squirrel damage. I am about an hour and a half from Atlanta and travel there now and then.

I'm looking for a driver side headlight door and an original radio but am on the other side of the country. If you decide you want to ship some parts to CA send me a private message.
