Brief intro from North GA

Hi guys and Gals, First time poster here getting to do a refurb of a 65 mustang. My 14yr old daughter and I have embarked on a new venture restoring a 1965 Mustang. This will be my daughter’s first car and we’re giving us a year and a half to get it done. The car is mechanically sound and we essentially just need to redo the interior and a paint job and fine-tune it I’m sure I’ll be jumping on asking questions and advice.
Thanks in advance for any and all help I’m sure I will gather from here.

Welcome. Admirable undertaking and one that should provide memories for a lifetime. Cruise through Helen on a nice Fall day, what could be better?

Get off my back, get out of my pocket....

1965 2+2 painted (66) Vintage Burgundy, 1998 roller 5.0 with GT40P heads, plans are for Sniper, T5 and 3:55 rear.

Very cool! My wife thinks I'm crazy but I already have my boys' first cars planned out in my head, and they're 6 and 2. Classic mustang (probably my '64.5) for my oldest and a '78/79 Bronco for my youngest. My daughter will likely get a newish car, unless she loves classics too.

Hey AlanandAbby, you two are going to have the greatest time with Abby's little pony car. Good luck and make great memories.
