NJ Guys,

Rumor has it that NJ produces 2/3 of the world's eggplant. In all of my journeys I've never seen an eggplant farm anywhere in the state! Where is it all being grown?

NJ is only the 5th largest state for chemical production but I frequently see chemical plants, no eggplants though.

Heck, Long Island is only a minor player in the potato and wine industries and it's not hard at all to find a potato farm or winery on the east end.

Where are the eggplant farms in NJ??

down south, they grow them along with alot of other things and they grow like a vine so it is possible you have passed a egg plant farm and didn't know it

(southern NJ) 68 acapulco blue convertible, and 95 opal frost pearl G/T BOSS edition convertible and 78 Mustang II last two belong to swmbo MCA#54225

HA!

I grew up next door to an eggplant farm. Let me be the first to say that there is only one thing worse than eggplant...

ROTTEN EGGPLANT! Like left on the vine in October.

I grew up in southern southern NJ. 20 years and never looking back!
