Went to a wax museum today on 42nd St. and then for a trip around NY Harbor....Statue of Liberty and all. Our driver was a native New Yorker and brought us by ground zero for my first look at the gaping hole in the ground. Yes, it was raining cats and dogs but let me tell you- it was a worthwile day trip and it reminded me to hug my kids when I got back. We are lucky to be here and after today I won't bitch about the foul weather too much. Off to Hampton Beach tomorrow in the rain and I doubt I'll see any nice cars with this weather. It will break soon and perhaps I will see some of you Pony fanatics in my travels this summer. I'm thankful to have what I have when I see what so many lost a short time ago in Manhattan.
