Dave, how could you say such a thing? I'll bet the pope doesn't even know any liberal democrats, and would a sheep really stand still for that?

I know WA State Lisencing agencys use the "Old Cars Price Guide" ( oldcarspriceguide.net ) that you can get a current issue at many major news stands or Boareds books etc...

But they go by the listed value in there for determining the taxable value... so maybe have that on hand also?

Hope it all works out for you!

Brett!

Bought the car for her, but I get to do all the playing with it...

I wonder where they get the data to come up with the prices.
I've always questioned NADA...but you go to various sites like Deals on wheels etc. and it's pretty amazing what some folks are asking (price wise) of course what their asking and taking could be a wide margine? I did see a 68 Clone Shelby Vert just go on E-bay for $36,000 and he didn't have any NOS parts at all on it nor the rollbar.... but there was also a "true" 68 Shelby Vert that went for over $100,000 so who knows anymore what's a fair price and what's not? :naive:

I would take a look on traderonline.com and see what people are asking for similiar cars. That's what State Farm did when I totaled my motorcycle.

....moving right along. If I remember correctly Bickfords sold a 66 coupe with a 6 cyl and AT about a year ago for somewher in the $10,000 - $12,000 range. It was a nice clean car cosmetically, and not a show car. As I said in my previous "deleted " post, if it is the other drivers insurance company, make them replace the car with a comparable car if they try lowballing you.It was their client that is inconvienancing you. I've gotta go now, I feel my neck and back really starting to hurt.....

Steve, you're just going to HAVE to join us for TT2.0 this year. With 10+ guys sitting around swilling beer and yaking it up, I'm sure there will be tons of grammatical errors made that need correcting!

And I'm just the man for it!

I actually got an award as a grad student for "Most Likely To Find a Grammer [sic] Mistake In His Advisor's Paper"
