Hey PNW, how've you been?

It's been a year or so since I posted, or even really checked in. Uncle Sam still thinks VMF is a commie porn site, so I can't check it at work, and dial up at home is soooooo slow.

That, and I've been doing the home improvement, get ready to move thing, and I've had little time for internet--oh, and the last excuse--I can't stand seeing you guys enjoying your cars, while mine's still a work in progress

Speaking of the vert, here's the latest (or an intro for those of you who don't know it):

Body work is about 95%. A lot of changes to the car since my son bailed on me (he bought an 06 slime green coupe). Soooo, Dad had to take over the 67 build. I've added a 67 Shelby hood scoop and side scoops, and an R-model valance. Crooked tail light panel is fixed, and we frenched the rear quarter extensions while we were at it. Of course, I'm pretty much going to need a full repaint, but I like the restomod look a lot better.

Engine goes in Saturday. 347 stroker, trick flow injection, twisted wedge heads, forged pistons, FRPP F303 cam, Cobra 7 qt pan, and other goodies. Pics this weekend(?). Engine and tranny came from the 91 LX I bought about a year ago (World class T5 with PRO 5.0 shifter). Both have been gone through completely, so hopefully this is a one-time install. I doubt it'll be on the road before I move; I've still got fuel and brake lines to run, interior, glass, gauges, top, trim, etc to install, but I think I'm over the rough part!

I'm moving in OCT back to Alaska (23 years and out of the Army Wooohooo).

Any VMF'ers from AK yet? If not, I'll try to start a chapter up there.

Later,
Greg

Have a safe trip.

You could leave the vert down here with one of us though.

Um, sure... And you guys will finish it for me, and ship it up, unmolested and maybe with a new paintjob to boot, right?
